CHEST MEDICINE

Services Provided by Department of Pulmonary Medicine

  • OPD
    • Outpatient department is run on 6 days a week ( Monday to Saturday excepting Government holidays for OPD) from 9 AM to 2 PM.
  • Indoor Admission
    • Patients are admitted daily to male and female wards under department of Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Special Services available on a regular basis
    • Diagnostic and therapeutic Thoracentesis
    • Intercostal chest tube drainage (ICTD)
    • Nebulisation
    • Pulse Oximetry
    • Peak flow measurements
    • Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
    • Six-Minute Walk Test (6MWT)
    • Fibre-optic Bronchoscopy (FOB)
    • Non-invasive Ventilation (NIV)
